Pioneer have seriously come to the rescue. After having major problems with getting a Kenwood CD deck fixed by Kenwood I was quickly running out of time.
How can someone drive 5,200km without music? It is certainly something I cannot go without especially when driving solo across the worlds largest continent with the worlds most isolated city, Perth, in my sights.
Pioneer have been beyond generous by supplying me with an amazing car audio player – the AVH-2350DVD Double-Din AV player with a 5.8 inch touch screen, and iPod/iPhone/iPad control (this is may favourite feature as you can control your iTunes library through the decks touch screen).
I emailed Pioneer last Tuesday. Pioneer emailed me that day with a few queries about my charity drive. By Wednesday they had agreed to support my flight west by supplying me with the AVH-2350DVD. By Wednesday lunch time the audio player had been sent to Stage Co Car Systems in Penrith (another sponsor of mine). Stage received the system on Thursday morning and they had it installed and playing tunes by that afternoon. Compared to Kenwood… Pioneers service was at the complete other end of the spectrum. Pioneer was nothing but great. Spectacular!
Thank you Rob from Pioneer for your efforts, prompt response and understanding of the time constraints. You and Pioneer have now made my 5,200km drive a completely different experience.
